RITUAL is a death/black metal band from Nový Jičín in Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic, formed in 1994.
Until the band stopped its activities in 2003, they continued to create high-quality music while changing their musical style from Death Metal, Black Metal, and Melodic Death-Black Metal. Darker Than Darkness Records is proud to officially reissue all released and produced music including unreleased material, all in three chapters!

RITUAL's musical style has changed from death metal to black metal, and on this, the band's last album (released in 2001), they have further evolved into a melodic death/black metal style. The solid and fast-paced guitars, the keyboards that emit symphonic and cosmic sounds, and the increasingly tight rhythms all come together to create a great work. but this album was hard to find a long time nowadays.
In this reissue, the new cover art and the booklet includes an interview with founding member Vít Grossmann (part 3) and a memorial message to Jan Vala (Hans), who passed away in 2023 (part 3), and includes a logo sticker.
The album is fully remastered and pressed in a limited edition of 500 copies.
